My name is Hana and I took my first yoga class in 2003. I have since had the honor of practicing and studying with various teachers and schools both in the UK and abroad.
Over the years, I have been influenced by several traditions including alignment-based Iyengar and Anusara yoga as well as dynamic Dharma Mittra and Vinyasa Flow practice. I completed my 200 hours Teacher Training in 2010 and my 500 hoursAdvanced Teacher Training in 2014 with Bridget Woods Kramer's School of Yoga.
My Hatha classes are infused with creative sequencing and conscious alignment understanding that all bodies are different. I teach to all levels, ability and requirements and encourage my students to challenge themselves in accessible fun ways believing we grow quickly by allowing ourselves to step into the unknown.
Since giving birth to my daughter Maya in 2010, I have also been very passionate about helping women stay strong, both mentally and physically, throughout their pregnancies. I have completed Triyoga's pregnancy training with Nadia Narain in 2014 and have been teaching pregnancy yoga ever since. My pregnancy yoga classes are known for being safe yet dynamic.
The same has been said about my postnatal classes which I am absolutely loving teaching as I get to meet so many wonderful mothers with their babies.
I offer yoga as a way to approach our world with realistic reverence and gratitude. As a continuous student, I am frequently attending workshops, trainings and lectures in order to broaden and deepen my existing knowledge and gain new perspectives and insights....
I am deeply grateful to all of my teachers (including Bridget Woods Kramer, Sianna Sherman, Elena Brower, Rod Stryker, Ashley Turner, Noah Maze, Stephanie Snyder, Nadia Narain, Matthew Sanford, Jyoti Jo Manuel) and students for providing me with constant inspiration on my path!
